Cathy booked a 4-minute segment on KARE-11 News Saturday with Eric Perkins for her pro bono client, Minneapolis Market, resulting in 28 new sponsorships for the free market.
Cathy conducted media relations on the need for redistricting reform, which resulted in a Star Tribune editorial, supporting reform; a Minnesota Public Radio feature outlining the redistricting “secret perk” of the 2010 election; as well as stories with Politics in Minnesota, The Uptake, and local Minneapolis neighborhood papers.
Cathy helped create a six-state public opinion poll regarding clean energy jobs. Using this information, she developed content for a publication that would help 2010 candidates understand public opinion about clean energy jobs and learn how to frame messages to better talk about clean energy with their constituents.
Cathy conducted media relations for The Conservation Fund that acquired Minnesota’s largest forest conservation easement that forever protects 187,876 acres of Northwoods forests, wetlands and shoreline near Grand Rapids, MN. Of the $44 million purchase price, $34.25 million was funded by the Clean Water, Land and Legacy constitutional amendment approved by Minnesota voters.
Cathy helped the Minneapolis Market share its story to a variety of different organizations and achieved a feature in the Star Tribune. Because of this article, organizers have been able to add more sponsors to help people in the south Minneapolis community who are in need.
Cathy conceptualized out-of-the-ordinary street marketing for Kass Clinics. It was showcased at the Race for Cure at Mall of America.
For Dr. Sidney Kass, Cathy wrote a Q & A in Minnesota Health Care News, which captured the attention of prospective patients.
For St. Patty’s Day, Cathy placed Ramsey County Commissioner Victoria Reinhardt and the GreenGuardian.com mascot on a 5-minute segment for KARE-11’s Showcase Minnesota (Twin Cities NBC affiliate).
